Information on the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme
Update 15 April 2020: Today the Government announced that the furlough eligibility start date has changed from 28 February 2020 to 19 March 2020, meaning an estimated 200,000 more people can benefit.
The online service for claiming wages under the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme is expected to go live on 20 April 2020. To help you through the process, we’ve produced an information sheet for download here.
We’ve been asked what our clients should do about tax, National Insurance, bonuses and how to work out wages for employees whose wages vary each month, so we’ve added all the details you should need, as well as how to make the claim and which employees can and cannot be furloughed.
