Nick Lowe (BSc, CTA)

Nick Lowe qualified with a BSc in Mathematics at Sheffield University and began his earlier tax training with an accountancy practice in Oxford, before obtaining the ATII (CTA). He joined Rhodes Walsh & Company in 1990 as tax manager and became senior tax director in 1999.
Nick has a fulfilling and diverse role at Bennett Verby. The many changes in rules and regulations that come from HMRC provide a challenge and he enjoys providing clients with proactive tax planning for their business and personal finances.
Nick’s clients cover a range of business sectors, including manufacturing, media and events, professional services, property development and rentals. His clients are mainly corporate, some with large multi-million pound turnovers, directors or trusts. He has extensive experience of company restructure and re-organisations, R&D and Capital Allowances claims.
A keen walker, Nick can often be found walking up the fells of the Lake District with his wife. His interests also include travel and competitive chess, playing for Altrincham and Hale Chess Club in both the Manchester and Stockport Chess Leagues.
