Helen Cain (FCA)

Helen has worked as an Accounts and Audit Manager at Bennett Verby for nearly 22 years. She graduated from Leeds University with a degree in Mathematics, qualifying as an accountant and becoming a manager at an accountancy firm in Hyde, before moving to Bennett Verby as a manager in January 1998.
Helen is skilled in general practice and her areas of expertise include technical issues regarding the content and presentation of statutory accounts. She is also our resident VAT expert and is a very reliable first port of call for VAT issues!
Her attention to detail helps Helen to undertake the audits of some of our largest clients, and her experience with the company has given her an in depth knowledge of the businesses of our long term clients.
Outside work, Helen enjoys running, having completed two marathons. She is also a keen walker and cyclist.
